My Story
After spending 15 years in a fast-paced federal government career, I realized something was missing. I loved the work I did, but I missed connecting with people in a more personal, creative way. That pull brought me back to where it all started—my high school job at a local flower shop, where I first fell in love with the art of floral design. Even then, I knew there was something special about bringing joy to others through flowers.
Starting Stems by Sinem was both a big leap and a natural next step. It allowed me to combine the organizational and management skills I gained from my professional career with the creativity and heart that have always inspired me. But more than anything, it gave me the chance to return to what I value most: being part of my community.
I’m a people person at my core, and this work lets me build meaningful relationships—whether I’m helping someone celebrate a milestone, sending a little comfort during a hard time, or brightening someone’s home with seasonal blooms. My goal is to create arrangements that feel personal, thoughtful, and tailored to each client, while fostering the kind of trusted, long-lasting connections that make this career truly fulfilling.
